Where are you located? 

The Steeple is at the corner of Joachim and St. Francis Streets in the heart of downtown Mobile. Our address is 251 St. Francis Street, Mobile, Alabama 36602.

 

Is parking available?

Pay-To-Park surface lots within 2-3 blocks offer several hundred parking spaces with on-street parking throughout the area. Take a look at the parking map to the right for more information. Should you wish to reserve the lots immediately adjacent to the building, please contact Premium Parking at 504-565-5546 or visit their website HERE.

 

Is the Steeple handicap accessible? 

Yes, the two primary floors are handicap accessible, with ramps, a new elevator and accessible bathrooms. However, the balcony is not handicap accessible. Please be aware when purchasing tickets to events that you or your party will not be able to access the balcony if handicapped. 

 

What is the alcohol policy? 

The Steeple holds an ABC License through the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board. We have partnered with a fantastic team to provide an exceptional bar service customizable for your event. Alcohol is allowed throughout the entire facility. However, no outside alcohol is permitted anywhere on the premises. Where is the nearest hotel? 

Downtown Mobile offers everything from 4-diamond hotels to historic inns and bed & breakfasts. A new Hilton Garden Inn is now open right across the street from The Steeple and offers a 20% discount on all rooms for any patron that has purchased a ticket to a Steeple concert. Please present your purchased ticket at check-in to receive 20% off the best available rate at the time of booking. Additionally, for brides interested in hotel blocks, The Hilton Garden Inn Mobile-Downtown offers all brides booked at The Steeple a complimentary mimosa bar on your wedding day for up to ten (10) people as well as one complimentary parking space for each guest booked in your room block. How can I tour The Steeple? 

We know you’ve got something special in mind – and can’t wait to meet you.  It all starts with a personal tour of the entire event venue and a complete review of our planner’s guide packet. Tours are available by appointment only Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. 

 

Does the Steeple have a dress code?

Please dress smartly when attending shows or events at The Steeple. Please refrain from wearing sagging pants, sportswear, hats, or bandanas. An appropriate dress code is enforced.

 

Is smoking allowed in the steeple?

We are a 100% smoke-free facility. The use of electronic cigarettes or vapor is also prohibited. 

 

Does The Steeple serve alcohol at concerts or special events?

Alcohol served at special events is determined by the person or entity renting The Steeple. For all major concerts, The Steeple does provide multiple bars in the space. Excluding concerts that the artist or performer has specifically asked for alcohol not to be present. Contact The Steeple if you have a question regarding alcohol sales at a specific concert.

 

Does The Steeple have an exclusive vendor list?

Yes, we require all vendors for our special events and wedding to be hired from our EXCLUSIVE VENDOR LIST. Any vendor that you would like to use that is not listed must be approved by Steeple management.

 

Does The Steeple serve alcohol at concerts or special events?

Are concerts seated or is it standing room only?

Each event, show, or concert at The Steeple is different and varies depending on the requests of the performer. Events will range from fully seated, to partially seated, to fully standing. Please read the event details carefully before purchasing tickets. 

 

I left my credit card at The Steeple. How do I arrange to pick it up?

You may arrange to pick up your credit card by e-mailing events@thesteeplemobile.com and arranging an appointment.

 

Does the Steeple accept all forms of payment?"

For event rentals, we take payment by check or all major credit/debit cards. During Steeple events, shows, or concerts, our bar accepts cash and all major credit/debit cards.

 

Are tickets to shows, concerts, or events exchangeable or refundable?"

No, there are no refunds or exchanges allowed for any tickets purchased for events, shows, or concerts at The Steeple. No exceptions.
